Who Me

Born in Burnaby, raised in Nairobi, educated in Montréal, living in Victoria, I'm dedicated to birds, their conservation, and the community that surrounds them. While I'm a far cry from the best birder or photographer, I bring a little special sauce to the field.

 

Currently working as the Provincial Coordinator for Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas in British Columbia I have the immense privilege to get to work alongside numerous not-for-profits, First Nations, and communities of naturalists throughout the province. I also have the honour of serving on the Board of Rocky Point Bird Observatory.

 

If you've spent more than 5 minutes with me you'll be well aware I pride myself on my smoking hot inspiration of a wife Sophia, my shittily loveable dog Ollie & cat Ted, and the gaggle of friends who serve as my water mark for what it means to be well on this planet. At 26, I've somehow fallen ass over backwards into a life I would've naively blurted out in elementary school for where I want to be when I grow up.
